Chris Brown's Mom Urges Him to Talk About Rihanna Assault

Two years after his infamous assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown”s mother has urged her son to break his silence on the issue so he “learn to deal with it” and move on.

Chris” mom, Joyce Hawkins, who has been a victim of domestic abuse herself, told “Sister 2 Sister” magazine, “I think he really needs to talk about the situation in itself, what actually happened to Rihanna, so that he can get that out for himself.”

Joyce continued, “He has to learn to deal with it and go on with his life. This is something that happened; it was a huge mistake, it was not good at all. But he is still a human being and we all make mistakes and we live and we go on with it. But he has to own it, deal with it and move on with his life.”

Meanwhile, Rihanna herself to took the press to she explain her reason for relaxing the restraining order against her former beau, telling, “It doesn”t mean we”re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn”t want to object to the judge. We don”t have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn”t want to make it more difficult for him professionally.”
