Nic Cage will not be charged with a crime for allegedly attacking his wife during a drunken argument in New Orleans last month … has confirmed.
The New Orleans District Attorney”s Office tells us … investigators did not have enough evidence to move forward with the case.
broke the story — Cage was arrested after allegedly grabbing his wife in a violent manner and disturbing the peace during a booze-fueled bender … triggered by the fact Nic couldn”t remember where he lived.
The D.A. tells … after reviewing the police report and checking out the witnesses, “The evidence did not support charging Cage with a crime.”
