Hooded Beyonce tries to hide after dumping father as her manager
Beyonce attempts to keep a low profile just days after announcing she is no longer being managed by her father.
The 30-year-old singer was spotted in New York City yesterday, hiding under a hooded jacket as she headed to her car with a security guard in tow.
On Monday the singer confirmed she had parted way on a ‘professional level’ with father Matthew Knowles, who has masterminded her career since her Destiny’s Child days.
‘He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me,’ Beyonce said.
However, their relationship is said to have become strained after it was confirmed a year ago that he had fathered a love child with Alexsandra Wright. This led to Beyonce’s parents marriage ending when her mother Tina filed for divorce in late 2009 after 29 years of marriage
