Just as the highly-anticipated news of his “Two and a Half Men” replacement went public, Charlie Sheen spoke out to congratulate Ashton Kutcher on his new job while throwing a jab at his former CBS bosses.

The 45-year-old actor took to his Twitter to show is approval of his named successor, writing, #Winning Congrats to the cast and crewCBS & WB..! My best to @aplusk !! The show must go on You got the right guy! c.

Ashton graciously responded with his own tweet back to Charlie, saying “#2.5 @charliesheen Thank man. Always been a fan, always will be!BTW you were born big

Later in the day (May 13), Sheen gave a statement to “Access Hollywood” about the news, where he took yet another swipe at the “Two and a Half Men” executive producer Chuck Lorre, telling, Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer.
